Wow, surviving on adrenaline can really be awesome haha. I only managed to clock in about 3 hours of sleep last night and I've been up since then. O_oAt long last, the exam pressure has lifted significantly, even though I still have one paper left this coming Friday afternoon. Gosh, why can't it be in the morning or something? Would love to get it over and done with early in the day. =/Anyway, I arrived at college around 6.15 a.m. and as expected, all the free parking had been snatched up. Drove to HELP's main carpark and damn, was it scary. It was completely unlit. When a van drove in and parked about 20 metres away, I was a bit worried, but well, I'm here blabbering away, so obviously nothing untoward happened lol.When more people started arriving at the carpark and as dawn broke, I decided to get out and wait for the bus. Saw someone I hadn't seen in ages on the bus. Arrived outside the exam hall feeling more stoned than ever. After the first exam was over and done with, I headed down to the mamak and surprise, surprise, Wei Hao was there. At college but hardly ever in any of his classes as usual. First thing he said to me was, "Wah Karen, you getting hotter and hotter wei. Come find me if ever you're no longer with Justin."One of the biggest WTF moments ever lol. Firstly cos he used to refer to me as lesbian Karen. As in, the butch sort of lesbian. And also because I have never ever been with anyone named Justin.Me: Who the hell is Justin??WH: Eh? Or is it Melvin?Me: Wwwhhhaaatt?WH: Or Kevin issit?Me: Kevin's my brother's name. It's Jeremy lar, dumbass. -_-"So anyway, hung out with him cos I had another exam coming up and he accompanied me up to where my exam was supposed to be. I wanted to take the stairs lol, but he dragged me into the elevator. Malas la tu. But when we got to the designated floor it was still too early, so I dragged him down four flights of stairs and we were back at the ground floor. Hung out with him while he had his morning ciggie, then I dragged him back up those four flights of stairs again. :DHe was complaining a lot about having to take the stairs but I told him to try wearing heels that are 3.5 inches high instead. He told me it was cos he was a smoker and his lungs were already black anyway hahah. Anyway he dropped me off and went to the library. Then I bumped into him on way down from the last exam of the day and I got dragged off to watch him work his way through a ciggie. -_-"Ah man, this reminds of the good old days back in foundation when I used to sit in a haze of cigarette smoke at Ali Maju and Mags & News thanks to Hao, Dickson, Fahmy, etc.And I remember being dragged by Hao, Patric, Joshua and Keith to what was supposed to be an afternoon yumchar session. We ended up at Horus in SS2, where I was forced to learn to play dotA. That was then followed by a short spell during which they coerced me into joining them on Blueserver. Until my laptop crashed.And omg, I remember being dragged by the guys to Sports Barn for futsal. They wanted me to play but I am (a) completely inexperienced in that sport; (b) not equipped for playing any sport that day; (c) terrified of getting bulldozed on the turf; and (d) plain lazy. Ended up sitting there for about an hour watching them play. And watching their bags. -_-" Only highlight was getting to make fun of Wei Hao cos he sprinted for like, 5 seconds but had to rest for 5 minutes LOL.Still, that wasn't as boring as when my cousin brothers tricked me into attending this futsal tourney amongst the church guys 4 years ago. Sat there for 3-4 freaking hours, just stoning. I'll never forget how they manipulated me by bartering my guaranteed attendance for some information about the identity of the person who wanted me to attend, which they were purposely withholding from me cos they knew that once I found out who that person was, my answer would be a 'no'. I'm still miffed at those two over their deception. -_-"I remember Dickson picking me up for a dim sum breakfast, which was all the way in Taman Connaught, Cheras. I remember meeting up with Andrew, Simon, Divyesh and Patric for drinks at Backyard, then "flying" home on the highway at 140 km/h cos I'd stayed out past my curfew. I remember listening to Patric's stories. I remember Simon constantly going on and on about which chick was hot. I remember Wei Hao doing that too lol. I remember early-morning lepak sessions with Luci and listening to his plans for world dominance someday. I remember how Simon, Fahmy and Wei Hao persuaded me to wear a short skirt to college, during a time when I chose to live in cargos.Man, I suddenly miss those monkeys so much. We'll have a reunion in sometime soon I hope. =)Speaking of reunions, I'm super excited to be seeing a bunch of my high school friends tomorrow night at Theng Chuen and Ah Hui's wedding dinner. I remember going for a 5am jog with Wei Jiunn lol. He ran all the way from his house to pick me up at mine, then we just walked around the neighbourhood and hung out till the sun came up. Then on the eve of my 17th birthday, after I got home from work, he picked me up on foot again and we went for another walk around the neighbourhood. I remember this one incident where he was supposed to pick me up (on foot) after his basketball game, but he ended up at the hospital cos of a busted lip. He called me as soon as he could and he like, hung up on Jeremy (Goh) when I was on the other line, or something like that. I remember walking all the way to his house with a slice of cake to cheer him up, only to have him ask me how he was going to eat it with his busted lip lol. Then he called Ah Keong to come over, pick me up and send me home so I wouldn't have to walk all the way. I remember Ah Keong and Jiunn picking me up a lot for lepak sessions and pasar malam outings. I remember Weng Fai picking me up a lot too for yumchar sessions.As for the dudes I've been in the same class with since 1999, I can't wait till they're home. Ian and Kevin are coming back in a week or two, while Jia Hoong's coming back during CNY. I remember our liquor + steamboat party at Ian's house. I remember being the only female there lol. I remember how we terrorised the aisles of Giant buying shit for the steamboat. I remember doing all the washing up. -_-" And I remember Aaron's horrendous driving that night. Mahjong tiles everywhere in the car and bumps on everybody's heads lol.I remember our first ever post-high school reunion at TGIF's where me, Ian and Bernice did vodka shots. After that, the guys and I adjourned to Daryl's house for free liquor and shisha. I remember Shashi's New Year's Eve liquor party. And again I was the only girl wth.I can see why my mom worried a lot about the direction she thought my life was headed in.-__-"Sigh all the memories of a more happening time in my life.
