i brainstormed @ 7:49 PM

It's time to save my blog from death.

Well, since my exams ended, I have been a little lazy to update my blog. But, today, with sheer willpower, I am now typing a post. Duh.

Okay.Time to do some catching up.
Where I last left off from the post about the SPM Motivation Camp, and many (quite) a lot of things have happened since then.

A week after the MC, our school's Interact Club had an event called IU Day. IU Day is short for International Understanding Day. In our Oragnizing Chairman's own words, the purpose of IU Day is to instill better understanding of the theme country's culture, bla bla bla.
Haha, all that posh crap from someone who cheats his own sister's money.

Anyway.
Only ONE Interact Club came. At least, they brought with them 25 of its members. And the postman has to share the blame too, because the invitations that we sent a week before Sports Day somehow ended up lost, or either arrived only a few days before the event itself.
I don't know how the system works, but I'm led to believe that they probably have chutes labelled "extremely important", "important, but not TOO important", "moderately important (where are your normal mail goes, like letters to Aunt Agony)", "low priority" and "extremely low priority. So low that the sender whouldn't have mailed it in the first place."
I bet that our letters went in the last chute.
Well if anyone reading this happens to be a postman, or maybe even related to one, then you'd better start doing your job, and that is to MAIL THE LETTERS ON TIME. You know why? Cos' we pay for them to be mailed that's why. We are the taxpayers, paying for you to ride on those little red motorcycles. Not to forget having to pay 30 cents for the standard 30 sen stamp.

So. 25 people came, and honestly, the performances were a little bland. The only things that were nice were the games, and also the stage decorations. I hate it how everytime our class (most of the F5 Interactors are from the same class : 5A) has to perform, they would always choose the same old thing. Singing. What more, choosing people who can't really sing well, but rather think they can. They end up screaming in the mike and then it becomes more a like an attempt to make people go deaf in the ear. And also, not only is there solo singing, there's ALWAYS a choir. And actually, the choir sings pretty well, but I'm pretty sick of the traditional "choristers-running-down-the-stage-and-grabbing-the-audience-onto-the-stage-to-sing-along" routine. It happens every time this batch of people perform. Honestly.

Complaints aside, the attendees responded well to the games, which saw those who had to take part having to finish the spicy contents of a plastic cup. Yeah, even I had to do it. And it wasn't too bad actually. Well, not when you ARE drinking it, but you should try experiencing what happens AFTER. I thought the chillis weren't going to be spicy. But you know how spicier chillies get the more they've been cooked? Well, being the stupid person I am, I forgot about that. And down, down, down the chillies went, leaving behind a trail of fire, and causing hell in my stomach. That much torture for the sake of coming out the victor and winning the prize, a small scented candle.

It was fun overall though, with me and the F4 guys getting high on Coke. Ironic isn't it? Coke (Coca-Cola) and coke (cocaine)? We were making the lamest jokes and roaring with laughter over them. Then again, I mostly laugh at lame jokes, so, maybe the Coke really shouldn't get the blame. So. We were in the hall, as food servers, getting the food ready before everyone came up from the concourse to eat.
The guys, being perverted and fueled with teenage hormones as they were, were referring to the chicken wings, that were actually pretty meat-depraved, as anorexic chickens. I don't know why, but we were laughing ourselves silly over that. Then another guy referred to the sausages as penises. Suddenly, another guy saw the brand of the food trays : Horse.
Soon, the meehoon became the horse's pubic hair, and the sausages the horse's penis.

Well.
The food was actually not bad, really. The only problem was that Shashi had been expecting a lot of people, and we even received confirmation from the other clubs that they were going to attend, which they didn't, so there was a lot of food left. There were 2 big tongs of rice left, and 1 and a half tong of meehoon. If you're wondering at the size of the tongs, think of those kind you see at chicken-rice stalls.
Yep, too much food left, which almost everybody as forced to ta-pau.

I guess I'll stop boring you about the IU Day.
What an attempt to save my blog.
